Sunday mornings at 10:30am at the Chelsea/Flatiron Morning Gathering Drop off time begins at 10:15 Gallery Kid Nursery Ages: 6-10 months Big City Adventures with The Gallery Kids Ages: 10 months – 6 years old Big City Adventures with the Gallery Kids is a structured classroom time designed for kids ages 10 months - 6 years old. While parents are enjoying the Sunday service, kids will enjoy an experience all their own! This unique 1 hour and 15 minutes is an enrichment class that provides children with experiences to promote their spiritual, social and cognitive growth. Each week kids will learn about: God's love and loving others, the Bible and Christian values through stories, songs, and other dynamic teaching methods. BIG CITY Adventures with the Gallery Kids interactive performance Once a month, in Gallery Kid, the final lesson of the Gallery Kid unit will be a presented as an interactive performance, by talented New York City actors and teachers, who we call “the Gallery Kid Big Kids”! During this time, kids will enjoy original Big City Adventures songs and other worship songs, hear a bible story and learn a bible verse as they are taken on city themed adventure in the classroom. Gallery Kid is a foundational enrichment experience that you will not want to miss incorporating into your child’s week! “Childhood development and spiritual discovery are central in the weekly experience we call “Gallery Kid”. The friendships that are made here have kids looking forward to Gallery Kid all week long! Each week the gospel message is communicated and children are challenged and equipped to love their world through an age appropriate curriculum and experience.” - Jen Maala – Gallery Kid director What to expect: - Upon arrival parents will be required to check-in each of their children and fill out necessary information. - Our Gallery Kid volunteers are here to serve you and your children! You can be sure that your child will enjoy a safe and fun time while you enjoy your time in the Gallery Church gathering. (Each volunteer has attended training and been approved by a ScreenNow, Inc. national background check.) - We know the importance of safety and cleanliness in Gallery Kid. All toys and equipment are wiped down before and after each class and proper hygienic diaper changing techniques are practiced. - Children will be provided with a snack during their time in Gallery Kid. (Parents are asked to fill out any allergy information upon check in.) There are no nuts or nut products allowed in the classroom. - Please send children with essential care items: bottles, sippy cup, diapers, etc.
